Packing and Shipping Support
Export door packages contain many coordinated parts: door leaves, frames, glazing, hardware, fasteners and documents. A clear packing plan helps the receiving team identify each opening, reduce handling damage and move materials to the correct project area.
Information needed before packing
Send the latest approved door schedule, opening marks, quantities, project destination and planned delivery sequence. If the site has limited storage, phased packing or floor-by-floor grouping should be discussed before production is completed.
How door packages are organized
- Opening identification: labels can reference the door mark, floor, room or project zone shown on the approved schedule.
- Coordinated components: frames, hardware and loose accessories are listed so the receiving team can match them with the intended door set.
- Surface protection: finished faces, exposed edges, glazing and projecting components are protected according to the product and transport method.
- Packing records: packing lists support container loading, receiving checks and site distribution.
Details that affect export shipping
Door size, frame profile, leaf weight, glazing, hardware packaging and crate dimensions can all affect loading. The destination port, delivery terms and local unloading equipment should be shared early. Oversized assemblies or special glazing may require a different packing arrangement from standard hollow-metal door sets.
Receiving and storage on site
Before unloading, compare package labels with the packing list and inspect visible condition. Store doors and frames in a dry, protected location using suitable supports. Keep hardware and documents grouped by opening, and follow the approved installation instructions instead of removing all labels at once.
